Mark Fronmuller

Mark Fronmuller is currently Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Innovation, Risk, and Sustainability at Ameren. His current role includes responsibility for four specific areas: 1) development of the Corporate Strategy and consequently its implementation via the enterprise performance management process; 2) alignment of innovation efforts to the corporate strategy leveraging new technologies to provide better value to Ameren’s customers; 3) oversight of Enterprise Risk Management and its incorporation into the Ameren Strategy; and 4) development and integration of Ameren’s principles on Sustainability, which includes balancing customers’ interests, the environment, co-workers, and shareholders.

Mark has more than 30 years of energy experience, holding positions as Utility Industry Practice Leader, Global Account Executive, and Partner at Ernst & Young, Capgemini, SAIC, and Scott Madden. Mark also served as the president of the North American division of a meter company. He drove smart grid implementations with AMI systems, prepay systems, load control, street lighting, and Volt/VAR solutions. He has led performance improvement, technology, strategy, and outsourcing programs. Mark has an MBA focusing on Quantitative Management Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, both from Saint Louis University.
